There are a couple of precautions you can take to protect your account from being scammed or involved in fraud. Here are some best practices and safety tips to mitigate fraud risk:
1. Secure your Personal Information:
- Never share your credentials, transaction PIN and one-time password (OTP) with anyone under any circumstances. We will never request your login credentials and OTP.
- If you've accidentally shared your Boost Bank login credential, please reset your PIN immediately.
2. Be wary of Phishing attempts:
- Do not open suspicious text, pop-up windows or click on links or attachments in emails/SMS/WhatsApp from unknown sources.
- Do not respond to email/SMS/WhatsApp requesting for your personal or ewallet details, including OTP and login details with any third party.
3. Keep your device secured:
- Do not enter your personal login credentials or make online payments on a public shared computer/network

- Always update the operating system and application on your smartphone and browser, to avoid any malicious exploit of security vulnerabilities in outdated version
