Is my card PIN required for Google Pay transactions?
No. Effective 27th Jan 2026, your card PIN is no longer required for any Google Pay transactions, no matter the amount. Your transactions remain secure due to the newly implemented feature of Consumer Device Cardholder Verification Method (CDCVM) by Google.
For transactions that cannot be accepted by Google Pay, please use your physical Boost Bank Debit Card.
